We had a very full and fun week for the Life Skills Family Camp! Lots of people, lots of action, and lots of activities!
Families got to participate in many different classes over the week: First Aid, gardening, candlemaking, baking, self-defense, watercolor, butchering, soap making, archery, sourdough, CPR, woodworking, intro to music, knot tying, home management, basketball, small farm basics, herbs and medicine, canning, violin, piano, meal planning, tomahawks, auto repair, sketching, and survival. There was something for everyone!
We also had fun activities during the week such as field games, build a boat battle, scavenger hunt, capture the flag, razor back hike, and participated in sports tournaments. Families heard from Pastor Spencer Johnson and Camp Director Dennis DeLano, and were encouraged in their faith and in serving their families. The last night of the camp, we had a talent show, which was so fun, lots of different presentations! Above all, it seems like the fellowship with other believers is the highlight for everyone!
