What a weekend to remember! Families gathered for a one-of-a-kind experience that blended hands-on learning, outdoor fun, and faith-building messages.
Throughout the weekend, kids explored how geology reveals evidence for their faith. Through hands-on activities, they learned about rock layers, fossils, and formations — all pointing to the design and order of God’s creation. Highlights included an erupting volcano model, a glowing fluorescent rock show, and interactive science sessions that made learning truly come alive.
The fun didn’t stop there. Outdoors, kids enjoyed archery, Gaga ball, boating, hiking, and other classic camp games. Each activity offered opportunities to connect, build friendships, and enjoy the beauty of God’s creation.
Families also explored a local beach filled with fascinating concretions, sparking curiosity and wonder on how these concretions are made. Another afternoon included a field trip to nearby rock formations and geological landmarks, where kids saw the very evidence they had been learning about come to life.
By the end of the weekend, campers left not only with new knowledge and skills, but were strengthened in their faith, and made lasting memories.
