2025 Family Camp

What a Weekend to Remember!

This past weekend was nothing short of amazing! We packed it full of fun, faith, family, and unforgettable moments that left everyone smiling, refreshed, and encouraged. From start to finish, it was a time filled with laughter, learning, and deepening relationships—with God and with one another.

Families jumped right into the weekend with a wide variety of activities that had something for everyone. A scavenger hunt lead families on a creative and sometimes challenging search around the camp. The field games brought laughter to all the young kids, while the Build-a-Boat Battle was a true highlight—seeing families work together to design, construct, and race their handmade boats was both impressive and entertaining. Evenings were filled with fellowship and games. On the 4th we celebrated with a fireworks show, shooting and singing.

In the midst of all the activity, there were a lot of understandable biblical discussions. Through powerful and down-to-earth messages from Dan Kreft and Dennis DeLano, families were encouraged to lean deeper into their faith and grow in their understanding of who God is. These sessions sparked great conversations and offered tools to help families strengthen their walk with God together.

Another favorite part of the weekend was simply enjoying the beauty of creation. The river became a gathering place for so many—whether it was swimming, kayaking, canoeing, or fishing.

Beyond the scheduled events, some of the most treasured moments happened in the in-between—families gathered around tables for meals, sitting around campfires sharing stories, kids making new friends instantly, and adults connecting over shared experiences. It was refreshing to meet like-minded families—people who share a heart for faith, community, and fun.

In the end, this weekend was about more than just having a good time (though we definitely did!). It was about building lasting memories, growing closer to God, and being reminded of the beauty of Christian fellowship.

"I have seen God face to face."
