Testimony 1:

We thought the camp was great!!  We had a great time!  It was great to meet other families who are like minded.  You don't feel like your missing "something" then.  My boy was so obedient for about the first three days after we left. It was amazing!!  I think seeing other kids being obedient helped him a lot!!  We definitely plan on coming back and getting reacquainted.  We will be spreading the word and hopefully some of our friends from down here will want to join us on the trek up there. My husband liked the fact that everything was very relaxed, laid back.  It was very relaxing and refreshing for us, seeing as we are having a hard time fitting it in it seems.

We really enjoyed the camp is was nice and relaxing.  Very family feeling, I really liked how though it was only a weekend, I feel like I got to know people a lot better than I expected!

Thank you for the email. We had such a wonderful time over the weekend it was truly a blessing. Your words came back to me several times......

During my time at Peniel, God has given me fresh eyes to see with, and a renewed heart (thank you Lord).  I can’t thank you and your family enough for your hospitality and your ministry (the truth spoken in love). I am really looking forward to coming again with the whole family (God willing). 

Testimony 4

Thanks for the note.  I was very blessed to have been able to come to your ranch.  God has given you all a great ministry.  I told my husband that he probably would not have wanted to leave.  It is exactly the kind of place my husband would love. 

I left your ranch very encouraged.  My husband and I have started implementing the Psalms and Proverbs daily readings.  It has been great for me, too.  I was raised in a Christian home and have never strayed down the wrong path, yet I don't have very much real Bible knowledge.  I know all of the great stories, but when it comes to just reading, comprehending and applying God's word, it has been a struggle for me. I have learned so much by incorporating these. God has given me the ability to explain and give examples to the children as I read Psalms and Proverbs to them.  I am getting more out of it than them.  I also am on a hunt for a hymnal and King James Bible. 

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to all the children sing the hymns loud and with passion.  My children know mostly only fun Christian kid songs, but there is something special about hymns.  We are a family that enjoys music, so my husband was very willing to get a hymnal and sing them as a family.  I was born and raised in a church that had the hymns.  I knew about 90% of the hymns we sung at the retreat, and it was amazing how they just came back to me even though I haven't heard them for many years.  Hymns are so moving; they really touch me.  I am excited to start singing hymns again and teach the children them.
