Items to bring:Bible, sleeping bag, pillow, personal items, towel, washcloth, rugged clothes, hiking boots,fishing pole and license, and clothes for cooler evenings. Special Note* There is no cell phone coverage at the Peniel Ranch. It is patchy depending on who's your service provider the closer you get to Peniel Ranch. You are welcome to use the Ranch land lines for phone calls.
If you are planning to fish while at the Ranch you will need to get a fishing license prior to coming. Fishing License Link Also please bring storage bags and labeling supplies for storage of fish you catch.
Ranch standards:It is our desire that the ranch can be a place where people can come apart from their dailydistractions to experience God through His Word in a more vivid way.In light of this we ask that you attend all Bible studies and meetings. Leave all CD’s, radio’s, IPods, and video games at home, and bring clothes that are modest, i.e. shirts covering midriff and shoulders, length of shorts should be at the knee, & one-piece swimwear with shorts for swimming.For meetings & meals, we would prefer men to wear a nice shirt & ladies to wear dresses.
Directions: From Grand Coulee Dam: Go North on Hwy 155, past Grand Coulee Dam, cross bridge over river, turn left at blinking light and sign that reads to Omak. Continue North on Hwy 155 approximately 15 miles. Just past Colville Indian Agency sign, turn left at the crossroads immediately after the Trading Post Store/Gas Station. Travel another 15 miles to Peniel Ranch sign/driveway on the left, Columbia River side of road. Landmarks to watch for on that last 15-mile stretch are 2 cattle guard crossings in the road, with the last one being 4.8 miles to the Peniel Ranch sign/driveway. Our driveway is one mile long.
Map Quest Please not that the address that you use for map quest and GPS is different from our actual address! 1 Peniel Ranch Road Coulee Dam, WA 99116 ~From Western Washington Map Quest has you going through Wenatchee but you can stay I-90 till Exit 151 (WATCH FOR THIS EXIT!! after George), turn slight right towards WA-283/Ephrata-Soap Lake this becomes WA-28, turn left onto WA-17, turn right onto US-2, stay straight to go onto WA-155, follow the Grand Coulee directions from here.
From Omak area: From Hwy 97 take Exit 55 South to Hwy 155, take a right and drive approx. 1.5 miles, turn right onto Columbia River Road (just past log mill), continue past Omak Lake to the Peniel Ranch sign/driveway and turn right, Columbia river side of road (approximately 28 miles).Our driveway is one mile long.
